Use the whole sentence, don't just take a couple words from it and lie about what I said.
Good point. We don't have a Levitical priesthood. But we are a royal priesthood. And a priesthood intercedes for the people. The ministry of reconciliation towards both God, and one's fellow man.

And, we do have a human High Priest. It's just that man is also... God. Am I wrong?

For the record, I don't believe I ever insinuated that we have a Levitical priesthood. hmmmm...

I don’t know anyone that sounds like Rush. Anyway, I’m not big on herring, red, or whatever color.

What are you talking about? Have abortions ceased? I didn't realize abortions have altogether ceased or that politicians and others aren't currently trying to protect abortions.

Any scripture for this, or you just pulling stuff out of your back pocket?

"Sin of racial injustice?" What Bible are you getting this from?

A bit condescending, but par for the course with you. As with most posts, yours is always the correct view. Everyone else is an idiot and just can't understand your multifaceted, brilliant mind.

Does this High Priest offer ANNUAL sacrifices for our sins? Or was there ONE sacrifice made which paid for all sins forever. So when I repented of my sins and was baptized years ago, that settled it. I didn't need to petition God for dead ancestors. I didn't need to answer for whatever sins my parents may have committed during their life. Or my cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, etc.

The point is, abortion is only legal because a previous generation fought all the way to the SCOTUS, and won their case. Shouldn't we work to right that wrong?

Study the Judgment of the Nations.

Racism is a sin. The Scriptures teach that we are not to show favoritism, that there is no more Jew nor Greek in Christ, and that we are to love our neighbor as ourselves. Racism violates all these NT teachings. "Racial injustice" is institutionalized racism.

First, why would anyone post a view that they felt was incorrect?
Second, I don't think anyone here is an "idiot". In fact, if I did, I'd not post here. I value your opinions, thoughts, and study.
Thirdly, I wasn't meaning to be condescending. I was only logically explaining why you saw a contradiction where I did not.

Does one really need chapter and verse to support righting a wrong that originates from the sin of our ancestors? We've talked about a few examples quite a bit.

I'm starting to think that some would like to see certain wrongs in our society that are the result of the sin of our ancestors continue.

No one said that anyone is to petition God for dead ancestors.

Repenting of ancestral sin means - not continuing in it yourself (typically resolved upon being born again, but can be done afterwards if one discovers that what they are continuing in is sin) and working to end the effects of our ancestor's sin in the present.

That is all I can see anyone saying.

Can you quote were anyone said we are to petition God for dead ancestors?

When I mentioned the act of interceding for our communities, and the leaders of our nation, by confessing the continued sin of our ancestors, and righting their wrongs as a part of our priestly duties as a royal priesthood... you brought up how we no longer have a Levitical Priesthood to counter the notion, did you not?
