Well first of all I was commenting on what people are saying in general as well as what you said. You did not actually say the part about strong Christian.
However beside the above quote where you called people wishy washy that were honest enough to admit that carnal, worldly music such as gangster rap can have an effect on them wishy washy.
Further you tacitly justified it being ok to listen to that kind of stuff by asserting that you would not change into a gangster and my point was that just because it did not change you into a gangster, a radical change, does not mean it does not have some affect on you spiritually that you are not seeing and that is long term, not over night.
For example someone that listens to that kind of music regularly, might not change into a gangster over night, or ever, but they might find their walk with God is not as strong as it once was
