To be fair... the posts you are referring to, that I would call UPC bashing... were post made entirely on speculation and inference... there were no facts involved.. because the church chose to use an AG church it was assumed that the UPC churches didn't care enough, didn't offer theirs etc.
So pardon me for standing up for facts or the lack thereof... (no... dont't really pardon me I am being completely sarcastic)
In my opinion, (and I admit I could be wrong because it's not based on facts) I think you are carrying too much around in your suitcase... you need to throw some of it out once and for all.
The question remains as to why the church chose to use an AG building over a UPC building. This is an open forum, so we speculate! I speculated that it was human nature to protect one's flock.
We speculate about the UPCI General Conference, women's conferences, men's Conference, liberal conferences, conservative conferences, WWPF, famous preachers, infamous preachers, bald preachers, fat preachers, fat saints, rich saints, poor saints, ugly saints, etc.
Thank you CS for answering my question. I respect you and have always enjoyed your posts. I truly was troubled by the response last night to that thread before I left it. (Most of the time I check in on the forum and just go my happy way without another thought.) I felt it was an over reaction to what was said. I try very hard to keep my attitudes pure and right before God, and do not in anyway want to hurt the ministry of any church.

I think you get the picture!
I do.

Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.

Sister, for all the beating that we take sometimes around here, most preachers have enough of a shepherd's heart that they keep quiet about saints that have done them wrong and wounded them.
