Oh I know you weren't offended this was meant to be funny.
I did see the humor, but sometimes because of the seriousness I see
and with homes so broken and torn apart, it makes it hard for me to not
see the serious side of life. And it is not getting better. GOD is our only
HOPE!
just a thought:
After the fall, god gave adam his assignment. Get out and work by the sweat
of your brow.
Eve, you will bear children in travail and labor. Childbirth.
If the man rules, then he needs to carry his assignment through. Get out
and sweat! No, not the gym! Provide for your family! Work until you sweat!
The woman surely does travail and gives birth to their babies.(her work has
just begun!
But how many men, after the woman has travailed in labor and had the babies,
then want the woman to help carry their part too. Man doesn't go through child-
birth, and she shouldn't have to go out and leave her babies and help until he
has sweated on his brow!!! Labor as in work and labor as in childbirth.
So if it seems the woman sometimes desires to "have a say", has she not earned
a right to!! Didn't say it was right. But maybe she feels it is!
Also, did god instruct eve to go out and work by the sweat of her brow until
adam got something (job, family, ministry, his college education, doctorate)
started or finished!
Is that one of the reasons it is so difficult for the women to be the head of the household these days?

Work and then go home and be comfortable with your A/C!
My late father and mother raised eleven children and got them all through
school, etc. He worked all day in an A/C facility and came home where there
was no A/C. He couldn't afford an A/C and have his wife home with their
children. So he opted for her to stay in the home and did without an A/C.
My mother never worked out of the home and they trained us up in the way
we should go.
As long as I lived at home, we never had a telephone. Had a good neighbor
who insisted we come use her phone if we needed to make or receive a call.
Dad felt it more important for his wife and mother of his children to be home
with their children rather than have a telephone.
God supplied their needs, not necessarily their wants. But they had their
priorites right. They had one vehicle. God always made a way for the things
we needed.
I thank God for the lessons and blessings of God to our large family. Ten of
us remain,. although Dad and Mom have gone HOME!
Every man needs a Man Land!
Usually a few hundred square feet in the basement where the "man" can do whatever he wants while the woman designs the rest of the house to her liking.
