The first two posts sound like they're referring to that song, but the last post must be to another song.

H.O. what song are those words from?
It was written by Blind Willie Johnson, a blind itinerant blues guitarist (one of his recordings was included on the Voyager spacecraft by the way) back in the 20s.

The song has undergone a gazillion modifications. In fact, it is often modified on the spot extemporaneously by whoever may be singing it. It is a common "praise song" in holiness, pentecostal-holiness, and pentecostal churches.

The Oneness version, of course, is the best.

"He's God in the Father.
He's God in the Son.
He's God in the Holy Ghost,
and I know these three are ONE,

I know God, is God,
and God don't never change!
I know God is God...
And JESUS is His name!"

(yes, the CORRECT Oneness version says "God don't never change")

They are also words to 'Let Me Tell You Who Jesus Is'....that portion that Lisa posted anyway.

He is God the Father
He is God the Son
He is God the Holy Ghost
And all these three are one

I know God is God
And God don't ever change
I know God is God
And Jesus is His Name

There are also other verses, like:

He's God when the lightning flashes
He's God when the thunder rolls
He's God way up in heaven
He's God down in my soul

And I just realized that maybe I'm getting the two songs mixed up....but in my mind, we also sung...

I know Jesus is the Father
I know Jesus is the Son
I know Jesus is the Holy Ghost
And all these three are one

I know God is God
And God don't ever change
I know God is God
And Jesus is His Name

I'm old though, so I could be confused.....LOL!

God the Son? God the Holy Ghost? LOL! And we used to shout to that!
I don't know if anyone else pointed this out but it says He's God IN the Father, He's God IN the Son, He's God IN the Holy Ghost and all these three are one

I've never heard it sung that way and I attended an ultra-con church for 15 years where that song was sung almost every Sunday....LOL!

He's God on this platform
He's God back at the door
He's God in the Amen corner
He's God all over the floor

He's God in the Father
He's God in the Son
He's God in the Holy Ghost
All these three are one

I know God is God
God don't ever change
I know God is God
He will always be the same

He's God when the lightening flashes
He's God when the thunder rolls
He's God ? ? ? ?
He's God down in my soul

I think that's the words you were missing.

Im not an old timer. I was young back then so Im still young in my opinion and my hair is still blond!

Which reminds me, I came to church once with a scraggly beard growing that I just didn't have time to shave that day. A brother came up to me so glad to see me with it because up until then he thought I was never going to have gray hair!
