Just understand this statement is simply a preexisting written policy pasted here to provide guidance for discussion on this particular topic.
It is what it is. No one, nor any posts have been singled out. The statement was established more than a year before this thread started.

I don't think how that was perceived.
Imagine a guy walking in a room (called a forum), opening up and sharing his doubts and perspective. Then the head of the house steps and says "just a reminder, we don't want to here a dissenting opinion on this topic." It just stifles the conversation, and certainly becomes a wet blanket.
I think it was poorly timed. Just about every poster here knows what AFF thinks about homosexuality. It seems uncalled for to even have a prepared statement on the matter.
My opinion. We all have them. Our egos needs a forum to share them

I want to be careful and not violate the rules of Admin critique in the public section, but there's no question how the stop sign was perceived. I have expressed my feelings privately as directed by the rules.
But I'm very disappointed by the turn this thread took at such a crucial time. It's very saddening to me. While it inspires me to fight on, it's a bit of a punch in the gut to see things go the way they did. We were getting somewhere and now? Nothing. Very disappointing.

There have been past threads on this topic that have gotten out of hand. The AFF *position* was posted to try to keep things in line with the forum values. Azzan hasn't been infracted, asked to stop posting or even warned as far as I know.
Ergo, the histrionics over something that hasn't even happened can stop now. 
So far this has been a fairly productive conversation. However, it IS a sensitive issue, and it's easy to see how it could get out of hand quickly on either side of the fence. Preemptive strikes by the Admin team are perfectly appropriate, and at this juncture: nothing more than a reminder [repost] of the AFF's official stance on the issue of homosexuality.

For the record: I didn't post the warning nor did I concur or consult on it. I had barely just logged in, but I responded from what I read of the Admin team
In one of my posts I chose a neutral position on whether our visitor was a male or female, without a response I took an assumed position and if Azzan is female I apologize, but my questions are really generic in nature.

- There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
- The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
- Every sinner must repent of their sins.
- That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
- That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
- The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.
