I have stated many times however, that there is vast difference between preaching and ministering. I preached for many years, before I learned how to minister. Ministering (99% of the time) comes from experience which is something that most young preachers don't have.
Bishop our story is similar... I have an honest question that begs an honest answer...... Do you feel that your leadership was using wisdom by letting you preach at that age?

I was preaching at 12 all over the UPC.. Ordained at 16... Pastor at 19 .... and SOMEBODY should have set me down.....

It would have saved me many heartaches over the years.. it was too early too much pressure to be perfect at that age.....

Honestly, I believe men should never allow children to handle the WOrd

Paul did little for 14 years of his ministry.

If our Lord did not begin ministry until after 30 years of training.... we should not put Novices in the work of the Kingdom....

Paul preached Christ in the Synagouge... which was simply a testimony of his converstion.. he had NO POSITION in five fold ministry until he 3 years were up

I think scripture is clear that ministers should be qualified for the job.

However, there is ample room for young people (and young converts) to be involved in ministry, under the supervision of older ministers and mentors. (e.g., Timothy)

This is pure speculation on your part, DV. The Bible does not say what he did during those three years. Give it up already. No one is saying to put someone in a pulpit right after they come out of the water.

Your in no position sir to tell me to give up anything.. I wouldn't give up my right to believe what I see in scripture for you or any of your commands......

I will stick with Pauls clear teaching where he FORBIDS a NOVICE to be ordained into ministry.... and looking at his own life... he was TAUGHT BY THE SPIRIT for 3 years.. before entering into his Apostleship......

Now defy it... if you want but its in the book

Hogwash! You have no scripture to back up that he was taught by the Spirit for three years before he started preaching. You're reading what you want to into the Word of God to justify your own thoughts on the matter. The fact of the matter is that the Bible says he started preaching Jesus shortly after his conversion. A matter of days, not years.

As Baron informed you... look up PREACH ----- sharing ones testimony of conversion does not place them in pulpit ministry nor does it place them in five fold ministry.... PAUL did not enter his ministry of authority until after these 3 years

Actually the bible says little about Pauls actions for the first 14 years of his Christian life. His first missionary journey was 47-48 AD and he was converted around 32-34 AD

Also much of old world Christianity(Spain, Rome, India etc....) was evangelized before Pauls first missionary journey.
