Easias were you at the Prophecy conference in Georgia with Brothers Kirkland, Brigmond, Dalton, and myself?

No, I've never been to a prophecy conference. I was afraid I might buy another Tex Mars book.

This is one of the first books I ever read on the subject of Talmud. It was also one of the most eye-opening. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so...

12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.
13 And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.
Now for Babylon.....
21 And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.
22 And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more in thee; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in thee;
23 And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee
God completely obliterated Jerusalem after it's inhabitants remaining, gave glory to Him?
Nope.

Emphasis on remaining inhabitants. The Lord always promises to leave a remnant of believers. Those are the ones who give glory, those are the ones who return.
Isaiah 10:20-22
And it shall come to pass in that day, that the remnant of Israel, and they that are escaped of the house of Jacob, shall no more again stay upon him that smote them; but shall stay upon the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, in truth. A remnant shall return, even the remnant of Jacob, unto God the Mighty. For though thy people, O Israel, be as the sand of the sea, only a remnant of them shall return; an extermination is determined, overflowing with righteousness.
Jesus spoke of His current generation that it was as a man who had a devil. The devil was once driven out, but later the devil returns bringing with it seven more worse than itself. Jesus said that its final state was worse than back in its previous times. Judea and Jerusalem's harlotry far surpassed anything which she ever had done before. The leadership chief priests, scribes, lawyers, were the ones who said Caesar was their King, not God.
John 19:11-12
Jesus answered, Thou couldest have no power at all against me, except it were given thee from above: therefore HE that delivered me unto thee hath THE GREATER SIN.
And from thenceforth Pilate sought to release him: but THE JEWS cried out, saying, If thou let this man go, thou art NOT CAESAR'S FRIEND: whosoever maketh himself a king SPEAKETH AGAINST CAESAR.
John 19:14-15
And it was the preparation of the passover, and about the sixth hour: and he saith unto the Jews, Behold your King!
But they cried out, Away with him, away with him, crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, Shall I crucify your King? THE CHIEF PRIEST ANSWERED, WE HAVE NO KING BUT CAESAR!
Deuteronomy 17:14
When thou art come unto the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, and shalt possess it, and shalt dwell therein, and shalt say, I will set a king over me, like as all the nations that are about me; Thou shalt in any wise set him king over thee, whom the LORD thy GOD SHALL CHOOSE: one from among thy brethren shalt thou set king over thee: thou mayest NOT set a STRANGER OVER THEE, which is not thy brother.
1 Samuel 8:7
And the LORD said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but THEY HAVE REJECTED ME, THAT I SHOULD NOT REIGN OVER THEM.
Jerusalem's leadership were the ones who decided to accept Caesar as their rightful King. The High Priest was the one who made the call, the absolute religious authority over the land of Judea. Yet, not all were in agreement with this proclamation, the disciples of the true King, understood who Jesus is.
Matthew 7:14 speaks of a narrow way which is hard to navigate, and an entrance which is hard to get through. Yet, Jesus tells us that many will try to find it, but only a remnant will enter in. What is sad, is that instead of sobriety from reading those words people just ignore them.
