You know it's the time of year
When witches and ghosts appear
They come at night
When there's no more light
Halloween is almost here
If you look very carefully
There's a spirit behind that tree
But I must say
Don't you go away
Because it might be me
It's that time of year folks. What are your thoughts and/or theories on the following?
Possession - Yup, by Devils, Demons, Fallen Angels, Unclean Spirits <-Same thing (Me thinks my Mother in Law is possessed, I have seen her head spin out the corner of my eye)
Ghosts - Only as Devils, Demons, Fallen Angels, Unclean Spirits <-Same thing
Hauntings - only as Devils, Demons, Fallen Angels, Unclean Spirits <-Same thing
Witches - Yup
Vampires - Nope
Death - Such as? Spiritual, physical? Yes on both.
That was fun.

LORD, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill? . . Backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour. A Psalm of David
In all honesty though, i don't have any problem with ya having been a witch as long as ya can take a joke Though, I am skeptical on all that magicy stuff.
I actually feel there is much more to ghosts and hauntings then we know. The bible is remarkably silent about the workings if the spirit world.
Well personally I think silence speaks louder than Lightening and Thunder, God says don't dabble. Apperantly the bible agrees thus the lack of credit to it.

Ghosts - Don't have a real good answer but might be attributed to Items 1,3 and 6 having a gas mind-twisting stupid humans.
Haunting - yes. See # 8
Witches - Wide variety therof, from loopy wiccans to Bruja's who you really don't want to cross...
Vampires - pop culture fascination except for the real human ones who drink blood and pretend they are the real deal.
Death - Happens to the best of is. Good thing we have an out
You all forgot Faerie, the Sidhe. Probably 1,3 and 6 again. Those guys really get around...
UFO's anyone, any Alien abductees here?
My next door neighbor was an alien abductee, ICE grabbed him and tossed him back across the border.

I have a friend who read tea leaves and knew when her own sister would die...and she did.
This same person also put curses on people when they did her wrong.
When she got saved, she put all her books on the front lawn and went inside to get a lighter. When she came back outside, all her books were on fire as if she'd put gasoline on them. She never touched them with anything, even a match.
Is that anything like the grapes of wrath?
Did you witness this spontanious combustion?

Is it? What about the woman at Endor that Saul sought out? 1 Samuel 28:7
That has always surprised me.
Or are you meaning that there just isn't really any explanations about the spirit world and how it works?
I think that witch was speaking to a demon, the king never saw the spirit, he only went by what she claimed to see. And he only percieved it was his long lost friend.
But the thrust of the story is the lesson, God kicked him to the curb.
