Awesome. [/sarcasm]

There is only one group of fans who annoy me more than Beliebers....they are the Ron Paul fanatics. Seriously. I liked a lot of what Ron Paul had to say, but his fanatics were so annoying that I couldn't support him.

I hope Campaign for Liberty isn't doing this. I hope Cruz doesn't become "public enemy number one" should both he and Paul run for President. I love them both and would be really disappointed to see the primary turn into a political springer show.

I agree. I do agree with a lot of what Ron Paul says, but some of Ron Paul's people are serious fanatics and almost appear to be mental. They were dogging McCain's eligibility. Ridiculous as McCain's parents were US citizens stationed in the Panama Canal Zone.

I agree.

Not sure what to think of these "conversion" groups. I've heard allegations which, if true, border on torture and brainwashing. Electra-shock therapy; beating effigies of their mothers with bats; and other tactics.

I view that as a good or bad situation. I've been in and around some bad leadership and churches in my life, but not all have been bad. I've come out of a bad situation where a good church environment helped the healing process. I think you would find that same scenario with various counselors. One could hurt you, but another could heal.

So, I think, you could find an excellent counselor and you could find a bad one. It's a lot of like a chiropractor, a lawyer, a dentist, a general practitioner, a mechanic, etc.

At the end of the day, the Government needs to not interfere. If I don't want to wear a seat belt, I shouldn't have to do that. If I don't want to wear a motorcycle helmet, I shouldn't have to. But, the horse is out of the gate and it would take some VERY strong, honest, principled leadership to bridle that horse and get it back into the pen. I have my doubts that will ever happen in this country. If I see some improvement in our education system, I may change my mind.

Re: GOP Candidates 2016

Hmm..I don't know. .. Do the government have a right to take your child away from you, if you're an abusive parent, that continually traumatizes mentally and physically, and severely beats your child? Do they have a right to stop you from putting your child through a system that may in some ways do the same? Should they not outlaw it for the chance that it has a potential to not be as bad as it's reputation?

I don't know, just asking questions. ..

Re: GOP Candidates 2016

The GOP made it clear the last two election cycles where they stand. It is not with the Constitution.

While many 'talk the talk', when it comes crunch time, they never walk the walk.

After the unbelievable excesses I saw in their cowardly, lying, manipulative, bullying 'dirty politics' in the way they handled Ron Paul' delegates in the primary, I left the Grand Ole (neo-socialist) Party and I said it then, and maintain it now, they will NEVER get my vote, PERIOD.

They offer up Bob Dole, McCain, Romney... the pattern is clear. Once is coincidence, twice may be questionable, but three times is enemy action.

I would vote for Rand Paul or Ted Cruz, but I vote as an Independent now. I agree with your assessment on how they handled Ron Paul. Totally disgusting. There was no way I would have voted for Romney after that. It was despicable and low down. Really, with the new rules, any down ballot grassroots candidate stands no chance at all.

I hope this new group of Conservative Libertarian Republicans can make some changes. It's a fight between them and the GOP Establishment. Fox News will be on the GOP Establishment's side. You can already see that.
