Nobody shops black Friday anymore. It's too crowded.

I went once years ago and they are crowded, with people pushing each other and half the time they are out of what you went for. So, I don't find them worthwhile.

I was going to go a few places Friday, but later in the day and not to the hot spots. Then I found out I had to work the day after Thanksgiving. So I went this past Saturday to some local thrift stores. I came home much more satisfied than if I'd waited for Friday.

Here is one HUGE thing I learned about saving money: Do NOT buy the cheapest! Rather buy the best you can afford and you'll always save in the long run!
