You go to New York for a hot dog or pastrami or something...not BBQ!

(we're just egotistical, don't mind us!)

My Texan brother-in-law moved to Washington state 2 yrs ago....his two sisters (1 of them my wife) and my MIL visited him a couple of months ago...and as they say in Texas, they "put the hurt on him". He had Texas food leftovers for months and thought he was in heaven. What do you people make up there that's so bad?

What?

Do those two terms mix?

We have a gas grill... we call it a stove... and we keep it in the house.

The blasphemy of it all.
I have one inside and one outside.

I love my gas grill.

It is a Holland and has a place for chips and you can add water to steam them I guess. I have never done anything but just grill on it.

I hate charcoal. It smells and you never know how much you will need to get all your grilling done.

More than likely someone is using too much lighter fluid if it smells.

You need to get some hardwood charcoal. Not briquettes. Those have sand and other stuff in them. Actual hardwood lump charcoal.
