I have problem seeing as how persons in reference to GOD is highly un-biblical.
The word "persons" is a human construct attempting to explain a concept.
The word "rapture" is highly un-biblical as well, using your logic.
In discussing the term "Trinity", was the word "persons" ever meant to denote a separation as separate as three separate people? I don't think so-- which is why most Trinitarian stuff I've read doesn't seem to present GOD as a committee.
Does anyone else ever find it comforting to dwell on the Father-hood of our God?

The term "persons" is actually a mistranslation. Tertullian actually said "personae."

God also doesn't have 'hands' or eyes... but He is given those attributes in speech to help us with our limited understanding of Spirit that can speak matter into existence. I'm not sure why OPs always feel they have to correct the 'persons' thing, even in something as simple as song lyrics... But if I sing "He's got the whole world, in his hands"... nobody stops the song to tell me God does NOT have hands.

Yes, me. I did not have an earthly father and really enjoy knowing that I have a Heavenly Father who watches over and protects me. Very comforting.

Huh? Explain the bold part. What else is persons supposed to denote? I think of more than one when I see a plural. Also using a human construct that isnt biblical is still wrong. Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD. Thats it!

Either you are joking, or just stirring the proverbial pot......I would guess the latter.......either way you and I both know that educated trinitarians (those who have been really taught the doctrine.....which MOST of your average members have not been) do promote three separate and distinct persons which make up the godhead. They are co-equal, co-eternal, etc but they are one.....a supposed mystery that we must accept by faith.
By definition, the trinitarian view of God completely destroys what a majority of their church's vision/mission statements state as their objective: "To know God and to make him known." How can you make God known when you teach he is a mystery that you cannot know, so you just accept it by faith.
