How Many Plans?
Let's play a game. Let's sneak in the back door, by finding a scripture, (of course out of context) and see how many plans we can come up with.
It seems to me, there are some on here that don't take their Salvation, seriously. Others seem mixed up, as if they can follow man and still make it.
I'll start, add as many as you can find.
Hmmm, does that mean that we can just hope that we are saved, and then we are?
Quote:
Ephesians 2:5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved
|
What is grace?
Quote:
|
1 Timothy 2:4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth
|
.
Will all men be saved? Then why a Judgment?
Quote:
|
1 Peter 3:21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ
|
:
Will water alone save us?
Quote:
|
Acts 2:21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
|
Quote:
|
Acts 10:35 But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him
|
.
Does that mean that they are saved? Why didn't it save Cornelius?
Quote:
|
Acts 10:43 To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins
|
.
And so? Just believe?
Add others as you find them.
