A Catholic Priest said..

I was listening to the radio and someone was interviewing a priest.

Q: In the catholic religion there is a whole lot of pageantry. Is this really necessary?

A: Yes. (I'm shorting the answer) He did go into why but he did not give a biblical reference.

Q: Do you believe in one bible, one church?

A: No. God made us all different to have different beliefs and you should go to a church which have your beliefs. (Again, I'm paraphrasing)

The first questions I was not surprise but the second I was surprise. I would have thought he would have talking around the question but he actually said very close to what I put for the answer.

That makes perfect sense.

Allow as many denominations as possible who disagree with the RCC;
and keep them divided. This allows the RCC to be the dominant and
most powerful kid on the block.
Make "friends" with as many denominations as possible, while keeping
them at each others' throats.
Publicly state that all denom's are a way to God; but privately, tell each
one that the others are heretics.
