Good question. Another good question is, "Do those who reject the new birth really love the Saviour with all their heart?"

Is hell continuous torture or annialation?

There are two hells: Hades/sheol, which is where all the dead go, the grave, the condition or state of being "dead", and Gehenna/the lake of fire which are symbols of the final judgment of God against the wicked, which destroys them.
John 3:16 says those who believe in the Son shall not PERISH.

Is there 2 resurrections still to come...and then there's physical vs. spiritual?
|
There is the resurrection unto life, and the resurrection unto damnation, both involve the entire person (including the body). In baptism/conversion we are said to be quickened or "raised" with Christ by metaphor, in that we are given a new life whereas before we were "dead in tresspasses and sins."

At death are we automatically with God or soul sleeping, or what?
|
At death we are dead, awaiting the resurrection. The dead know nothing, neither do they praise God, there is no consciousness in death, hence the Biblical term "sleep", implying a future time when one "awakes" from the condition of being dead (the resurrection). From the individual's point of view, they will have no cognizance of the passage of time, therefore from their point of view, death leads immediately to the resurrection, although thousands of years may pass for the living. So the answer is "both", in a sense.
