I thought it strange that a woman woud ask me to do this as I just a kid myself (14). But, I believe God was in it so I would know without a doubt that all this was true. I consented and saw that her son, about 7 or 8 years old, was in leg braces all the way to to his hips. He walked on metal crutches and needed to be steadied as he, well, did his business. I helped him the best I could and led him back to his mother.

The service started and progressed and I never saw the woman or child again (large crowd)... until the service was over. As we began to file out, the evangelist called out.... "Hey, everybody, look what Jesus did!" Everyone turned back to the platform to see the preacher holding the boy in one arm and those heavy metal braces in the other hand. He sat the boy down and he started walking, then ruunning back and forth across the platform. I tell you, I thought church was going to start all over again as people began to rejoice and praise the Lord. Thats ONE miracle that I was priviledged to have personal knowledge of and know for a fact it was true.

I recieved the Holy Ghost in that meeting on Jan. 30, 1971. And the preachers name was R. W. Schambach. I saw the kid again a few months later. He was still walking and running without braces... or even crutches.
As a young girl when I used to visit my grandmother, I remember she would always listen to a Bro. Schambach on the radio at a certain time each day. It was back in the late 60's or early 70's. I had not thought of that name again until I read it just now. I wonder if it was the same preacher.
