I would have to agree. If it's not of huge import or spiritual significance, my husband can usually be persuaded to my way of thinking.
But in the early years of marriage that is one of the biggest adjustments.... compromise was not always the happy solution. That may be the root of the news article that the majority of marriages are ready to split at 3 years.
