Paul said, "Earnestly desire the spiritual gifts."
IHOP is part of the Resoration wing of the Charismatic Movement. Benny Hinn as you said is part of the Word Of Faith wing which is the part of it that helped drive me away from it.

Not that FAITH for healing or whatever is wrong just the deceiving prosperity teaching that robs the disciple of his duty to take up the cross and follow Jesus.

But IHOP is hungry for MORE than healing and miracles. I really believe they are hungry for righteousness. I have hardly seen the fervency of reaching out to Jesus as I do there.

Well what he said was repentance, water baptism, the infilling of the Holy Spirit are REQUIRED by Israel the same as for us. And that there are not two different ways OF SALVATION.

Also I reported a few months back I heard the same man say plainly one is not born again without the water and Spirit baptism. However at that time I could not find the video to verify it to others.

Thats why I posted this link because to my understanding this does show that it is being taught at IHOP. Time will tell how well its received.

Scroll down to the Saturday May 14 session 5 video. Go to the 1 hour and 25 minute point in the video there he begins the portion Im writing about.

Here Wes Hall one of the three leaders at IHOP tells the hearers Acts 2:38 is the required way of salvation.

This is significant in that this a Trinitarian Church coming into a deeper knowledge of truth.

While some Apostolics are drawing back into Protestant Evangelical teaching here we see the Lord guiding Charismatics to a more Biblical understanding.
Mike Bickle, lead pastor of IHOP calls David Pawson his favorite Bible Teacher, anyway David believes that Acts 2:38 to be the NT New Birth.

They have had David Pawson there all last week who teaches Acts 2:38 IS the new birth. That is the context I think of where they are. The teaching on the new birth they have accepted from Pawson is becoming more prevelant. It will take time to work its way through the whole Church but Im confident it will.
David Pawson is one of the best Bible Teachers to walk in Flesh.

Hmmm that depends on what you think is the truth. I agree with him on the new birth and post trib rapture. Two very big things to me. In the matter of the Godhead he is missing it as does IHOP. Pawson has a chapter in his New Birth book where he defends himself from suspicion that he is a tri theist.

Of course to me tri theist is just the logical outcome of Trinity.

buddy tbh no one has the corner market on the Godhead... the Godhead has been the center of debate and division since 100a.d.

is the trinitarians correct yes in some aspects, is the Oneness correct yes in some aspects.

Do we really know? No, no matter how we want to view it Paul said
1 corinthians 13:12

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

No matter how we want to view things, we are still very limited, are view is obstructed, but one day face to face.

we have a perfect view of Gods grace and salvation through His Son, but when we go back to trying to formulate doctrines on the godhead i think were missing the point. we still cant describe a undescribable God, nor can we fathom His love..

and trinitarians are not tri thiestic, thats just a oneness label placed on them. They pray to the same God you worship, and the same God answers thier prayers.
They believe in One God

In the first century, all Christians used the plan of salvation found in Acts 2:38. Today, only Apostolics still use it.

Uh, the first Century Christians didn't even have Bibles or Scripture to broadcast the Acts 2:38 message.

Prove your statement.
