This typically happens when the baby is about 6 months old, give or take. There are people who nurse for a couple years, but they are fertile long before the nursing is over.
I'm sure you know this also, but I didn't for a long time, because a nursing mom friend of mine told me that as long as nursing was taking place, babies didn't come. I believed her because her's were spaced apart nicely.
Then I met someone that didn't work for.....LOL!
And no, it wasn't me!

Nursing is in no means total birth control but it spaces them out more especially if you are using the rhythm method. The rhythm method and basal body temp does work to space your children if you are nursing.
If you don't and use no birth control meaning not even the rhythm method or a barrier contraceptive you will have one every nine months.Six months will at least give it fifteen months before a new baby is born. That at least gives you time to wean one to the cup.If a person is going to do the best for their children they should nurse them. The sad thing is when people are screaming against all forms of birth control even barrier contraceptives and having tons of kids and being on welfare because
they can't support them. That is irresponsible.
If you can afford to and have fifteen or twenty apostolic children you will be blessed.I would that I had more.It was not possible for me.I was to have none and I did get three.God blessed me regardless of what medical science proclaimed.I would not trade them for anything. They have
and still are bringing me great joy especially since the grandchildren have began to arrive.
