Not always. Remember that little space in your Bible of about 400 years between the OT and NT?

Are you suggesting another 400 years of silence from God while we await the second coming of Christ?

Are you sure or is this just one false prophet you are grieving over? and how do you know others do not discern what you discern?

Oh dear brother....
I am certain that others are discerning the samething.
btw, it is not just one false prophet that I am grieving over. It is as another poster put it above, "atmospherics." There has been a drastic change in the spiritual climate that has got me great grieved.
The work of "gradualism" has worked her charm.

God does some his greatest and most awesome work in times of silence ...
See:
Creation of Man
400 years of Silence preparing the way for the Messiah
Calvary
The Lamb breaking the 7th seal in Revelation
Maybe if we would shut up and let God move in us .... we'd start being the Church.

I was very surprised and troubled by what I heard.
Then I heard similar disturbing things from Wayne Huntley so I truly no longer even identify with this group it appears.
The emphasis on the supernatural / emotinal aspects of Christianity has always been unbalanced in OTP circles in my view.

CC1,
How did you listen to the sermon? Was it archived? If so, is there a link?
Thanks

Have you noticed how the work of 'gradualism' leads to those that are hungry calling out for more of God? When churches become comfortable and complacent, then annointed voices start speaking out for a greater consecration and closer walk with God. Some cannot stay in the dry barren wilderness without eventually thirsting for a drink of living water and seeking God with longing to see his power and glory of old. Many great revivals have been brought about because God has raised men who will preach against apostasy. God can turn things around if we will pray.

Nope. We have His completed word. I was just stating that sometimes God doesn't send a warning or a prophet.

I too thought about that.
I heard a voice early this morning, long before day-break asking a question, "Watchman, what of the night...?
Are we in for a long, long night before the morning breaks upon the Eastern horizon. Are we facing the long Winter of the church before Spring?
Dear God! Help us all! Let the remnant escape NOW! Let them escape before they too, blindly, drink of the waters of death. I sense that the seige is upon us.
