I read it and was like "yeah, arent we all, and so?" LOL...dont leave us hanging with some possible juicy insight - until you are ready to tell us something...LOL
anyway - carry on

Oops sorry. I thought you were meaning that I was sounding political -- saying all that but saying nothing.
Arghhh!

That's right. Even then, often the best that we can do is speak in the abstract of what is unspeakable, depending upon the perspective of the hearer to properly interpret within themselves what cannot be interpreted with words.

I am reminded of the scripture in Haggai that states "Who [is] left among you that saw this house in her first glory? and how do ye see it now? [is it] not in your eyes in comparison of it as nothing?"
What we see right now is considered "nothing" compared to what God has done in the past. But the promise to me is found in the verses that follow this one.
Hag 2:4 Yet now be strong, O Zerubbabel, saith the LORD; and be strong, O Joshua, son of Josedech, the high priest; and be strong, all ye people of the land, saith the LORD, and work: for I [am] with you, saith the LORD of hosts:
Hag 2:5 [According to] the word that I covenanted with you when ye came out of Egypt, so my spirit remaineth among you: fear ye not.
Hag 2:6 For thus saith the LORD of hosts; Yet once, it [is] a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry [land];
Hag 2:7 And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the LORD of hosts.
Hag 2:8 The silver [is] mine, and the gold [is] mine, saith the LORD of hosts.
Hag 2:9 The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts.

Good scriptures bro. Matthew....
Except for the hope of the revealing of His glory, as promised, I would despair in unconsolable grief.
A change is coming but not without great distress, grief, sorrow and pain after which a new day will be upon us more radical than the contrast between the old Jewish sects and the upper room experience of Acts 2:1-4.

Was this during the offering?

Sorry, I missed this.
Yes. The "prophet" did his "little thing" immediately before the offering was taken.

The FBI recently performed a sting operation on a group of "psychics" that were scamming people.
They never saw it coming.

Well, I don't often post but here goes. I am at the La. Camp and have attended every service except one. I have been truly moved by the Holy Ghost! WH was awesome! AM was awesome! TFT has been his classic self. The only spirit I have felt is the power of the Holy Ghost! As for the man that prophesied...I know him very well and I can asure you it was of God! Do we not believe in the gift of prophecy any more???? Just my thoughts. I was sitting in front of a lady that recieved the Holy Ghost during worship the 1st night. All I can see is one of the most powerful Camp Meetings I have ever attended. I will be going back tonight!

As a matter of fact, one of the men that was prophesied over was told how hw would affect young peoples lives and sit on committees that would bring great changes. This man, unbeknowing to the preacher, was a cadidate for the BESE Board of La. That board deals with the school systems of our state. I personally know of many prophesies that have come from this man's mouth that have come to pass. JMHO

It could be that your perception is skewed because of your adoration for these men. Don't underestimate what Bro Strange has felt. This man has been mightily used in the gifts himself, and he shouldn't be wrote off.
