I have found for myself that when God does something amazing, when he reveals something to me, when I feel him in a special way, that I like to hold it close and sort of bask in it, like my own private little secret. I do this for several weeks, because I find that I am usually quite protective of my revelation/experience.

After I have had a chance to really and truly relish in it, I feel more able to share it with others. Before then, I feel protective and sensitive of it, like it my newborn baby and I must protect it!

I think that is similar to what you experienced, and I really am sorry that I upset you. In fact, my first concern when responding is that this would happen. I thought my worry was God's way of telling me to put a disclaimer "just in case", but perhaps it was his way of telling me to hush up.
