In the political world and now in the religeous world, the terms "right" or "left" means

something that was so foreign to me growing up in a Christian home. Even before our

late father was licensed with the UPC. We were taught principles of honesty, integrity,

and other things that was considered by our parents as right and wrong. We knew from

a child until adulthood that some things were not considered righteousness. We saw

those who thought we had old "foggies" for parents. I never thought of them as old

"foggies" but when I was about 14, I admit I thought my dad and his mother, my paternal

grandmother were "so old fashioned". But I was a child and did not understand. However

when I became a parent a few times, and those children began to grow, I was amazed

at how old fashioned" I was becoming. Sounding just like them. I began to see and

understand the values that had been taught us were much more important than I

viewed them as a child.

All I was doing in the earlier posts was using a simple example that if you stay where

it is safe, you possibly will live to see your children and grandchildren. If you will think

about what I was saying, the next time you go to work, or other, you will most likely

be on the right side of the road. When you start back home, notice that although you

are returning on the same road, and going in the opposite direction, you should still be

on the right side. Simple, yet true. The right side is the safe side!

I would add, you might not want to travel down the middle of the road either. You could get hit by what's coming from either direction.

Safety might be staying in the center of the lane you are traveling. If you're going somewhere, get in the "Right" lane and drive. If you are returning, get in the "Right" lane and travel. You're safe if you're in the "Right" lane. The safe lane is the "Right" one. Always.

The "Left" lane is reserved for those going in the opposite direction.

I had the opportunity to here Bro. Kilgore preach via webcast a couple of nights ago, and as I sat there taking it all in my thoughts was, Lord give me the LOVE for you they had and have, Lord give me the WISDOM, UNDERSTANDING and DESIRE they had.

You have me all confused now with the right and left lane thing, ! You see, my mind has never been much of a spatial mind, I have been told I will never be an arquitect because of this... Anyways, I ended up drawing a highway with "right" and "left" and I was trying to visualize it, and now I'm all confused.

Eh, anyways, I guess it was a good point, we should stay on the "right" side of things...

Bro. Alex,

Just save/store the things I have posted in your memory bank and

in time your confusion may lessen. You see, I've been traveling on

the "road of Life" for a long, long time. Seen what happens when any-

one (regardless of the labels) or whoever we may be, veers too far to

the right (super-spiritual, thinking no one but them and theirs are

spiritual), and they land up in the ditch of life. Some sad stories which

continue into their children and greatly affected/affects their precious

grandchildren. It is bad when you are ditched, but when you see those

dear ones who have followed you into the ravine, fall in on top of you,

it becomes much more grievous.

You are much too young to understand that. It will become VERY im-

portant when you father children and see their children's children, your

grandchildren and then great-grandchildren.

Still others have veered over in the far left lane of life, either to wind

up in the far-left ditch or might have been "hit" while crossing the left

lane, on the way to the ditch. Regardless of how we got out of the

center of the right-hand lane of life, into either of the ditches, or, God-

forbid, get wiped out while veering across that far left lane. (Be in the

wrong place, at the wrong time). Perhaps some have even "fallen asleep"

and veered into the left lane, and had a head-on collision. (didn't mean to

drift over there). That ditch on the extreme right could be a deep ravine

into which one could fall and either be severely injured or even killed. I

am basically speaking of spiritual dangers, but it also applies to the fleshly

or natural man.

Don't be offended if you don't understand what I am saying as you may

or probably have not been this way before. You will, as you travel down

the highway of Life, understand better as you travel along.

Someone traveling on up ahead can call back and warn of dangers along

the way, if that person coming along behind hasn't turned off his cell phone

or neglects for whatever reason to listen to the information being relayed

back them.

Through many dangers, toils and snares,
We have already come.
Tis grace that brought us safe thus far,
And grace will lead us Home.

Lord God, help us to always have a teachable spirit and ears

to hear and eyes to see, when You would lead. Help us to be

willing to follow the leading of Your Spirit, in Jesus Name!

just ask your Father to guide you. He knows! He said He'd be

our guide even unto death. He will NEVER lead you wrong.

For they that are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons/
