Really??? Because we didn't have a school yet? Didn't your mom work there when we first started?

That is a true story. I am not sure if she worked there the first year or not. I think maybe the second year because the first year is when I lost my eye, and she wasn't at the school when that happened.

I almost did!! That is a moment forever etched in my brain, it actually made me question whether or not I was fit to be a parent! It happened right in front of me, and I was worthless!!

Oh the many times we have had this same scenario unfold in our home! The kids just dont let it phase them anymore. My kids take it a lot like Sherri's husband. When we are going somewhere if its to meet someone new they say mom are these our real friends or our make believe computer friends? ROFL! The only one they know to be real is Rhoni and thats a long story but she has spent a lot more time with my kids so they know her as a real life friend now but the rest of yall are still just make believe ROFL

Ohhhh didn't mean to bring back bad memories!!
It is actually the greatest party trick, ever!
When I used to teach kindergarten, I would tell my kindergarteners the story and explain about being nice on the playground...
They always asked for details....
Not to mention, for a short time Andrew was subbing at the school where I work when he was waiting on Bar results... Nothing gives you more credibility with a middle schooler than being able to take out your eye!
lessons I have learned from being married to a one-eyed man...
Never ask him to keep an eye on the kids
Never ask him to keep an eye out for something
