Well, honestly I can't argue this one with you. You already know how I feel.
I think the Republican party has made more strides, but I think it would be against our rights as Americans to force the issue upon a secular society that is not in agreement.
We have the gay marriage issue being waged in California. The will of the people have, thus far, been against it. At some point it will eventually pass, but we must leave this to majority vote. It's the way our Constitution works.
We can't force an anti-abortion or overturn Roe v. Wade stance against the will of the people.
