I know and have worshiped with some people who are gay. I cannot speak for all or everyone...the ones I was worshiping with were really worshiping God and they did speak with tongues...IMO...it was the "real" Holy Spirit.
this did mess with my theology alot....but so did the first time I saw a woman wearing pants pray for someone and they got healed...or many other examples I could give.
I AM NOT SAYING THAT SIN IS OK, ALRIGHT, OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT!!
Just sharing my experience.
Galatians 1:8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
Experiences are not a good basis for doctrine. Unless something can be supported by the Word, either specifically or on principle--throw it out.

Would we call an idol worshipping pagan an Apostolic?
Rom 1:25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. Rom 1:26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: Rom 1:27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

It's quite interesting to hear the different opinions and to sense the differences of spirit that is being expressed. Believe it or not, it's helping me quite a bit. Jeff.
what does Paul's gospel have to do with being gay?
Because, edjen, it doesn't matter how "spiritual" people seem to be--if they are preaching another Gospel, then we are not to accept it.
We are not to be pleasers of men!!! We are servants of Christ--not men. It is for the good of men to know what constitutes disobedience, so they can correct it, and choose to obey God's commandments.
We rob people of salvation and freedom when we try to be politically correct. We're so afraid that they won't like what they hear that we're willing to let them go to hell instead?
Paul's gospel has a lot to do with a lot of things. I find your question rather surprising.

You're exactly right. To me, this would be like having churches based on the premise "Apostolic Liars", or "Stealing Saints." How about "Apostolic Porn Addicts Church", or "Apostolic Swingers?" "Apostolic Church of We Believe It's Okay To Murder Your Neighbors." ????????
It's ludicrous.
It is obvious to me! That is way I see it.
But I get the feeling that the gay agenda just will not stop. It just not satisfied with the world accepting them the church has to too.
Every time I see one of these threads start, I always get the feeling it's the Gay Agenda being forced upon the Church no matter how many times we say homosexuality is a sin-- the topic always rolls round again.
