I understand a little bit of what it is like to be an Admin with your own lives.
There are also 5-6 Admin & mo one Admin can make a decision without the others in agreement-I get that.
I think what Elder Epley & myself & a few others are doing is just posting our observations on the flow of the forum.
There is a tremendous diversity of posters here with various viewpoints & various topics to be discussed (not all religious based either) & that is fine.
It is the threads that deal with the "Core" beliefs of One God, Jesus Name Water Baptism" "Eternal Salvation" & "Eternal Damnation" of the sinner being questioned that just gets posters wondering about where the forum stands.
A lot of these questions were settled when I was a new convert & yes I studied them for myself so these are my revelation of his word to me not just someone teaching me.
I think Bro Epley was just posting his observations & not calling any one out in particular.
Why is this important to some of us?
I am not going anyplace where the foundational truths of God's word are constantly called into question, why should/would I feel welcome?
Even my family who do not attend Church affords me that respect.
Just my observations.
But in all fairness, Ron. This isn't a family reunion where everyone is just trying to get along until the dessert is served. It's a discussion forum. If you told your family that you would like to discuss the finer points of apostolic doctrine, don't you think some of these issues might come up?

The forum has a definition of apostolic posted. I guess that is where the "forum" stands. IF I remember correctly, that definition was written by the conservative ministers who were the previous owners--that jumped ship.
Any topics of discussion contained within this forum are NOT necessarily the beliefs of the owners/admins of this forum--yet every so often there has to be this cycle of people suggesting/demanding that the word apostolic be removed from the name due to the content of some threads.
The name of the forum stands as it is. We have this domain name, and aren't going to the hassle of trying to find another name that isn't already taken-- or the cost of changing it.
Good grief, I don't know how many times this has to be repeated. This is a FORUM. This is a tool for people to meet and communicate. This is not a church. If anyone is looking for their doctrinal teaching here, they are looking in the wrong place. What is found here is a very broad spectrum of people's opinions. Nothing more, nothing less.

Some people really don't like discussion (not referring to Bro. Epley here) or debate. It makes me wonder why they frequent a discussion forum.
Most of my family who does not go to Church don't believe in God & some of them that do & believe wacky things such as Gay Marriage & Gay priests & all that other stuff, afford me respect for my views though they do not agree.
We have had at 'er many times until we just agree not to discuss things beyond a commonality (however small that may be) like, "are you having anything special over Christmas?"
"You merged your Church with another Church?"
"You are starting a HM work?"
What you think? Should we just shoot them all and then let God sort them out?
How about this!
If you do any of the following, just make it easy on the Elder and put Charismatic or Liberal somewhere in your signature!
1- Have a genuine Television, not just a computer!
2- Are a woman and cut, trim, chew, burn, curl or color your hair!
3- Wear short sleeves above your wrists,
4- Wear makeup, ( men or women) hunting camo does not count!
5- Wear any jewelry, rings, etc!
6- Wears the color red!
7- Wears open toed shoes!
8- Follows any sport but hunting or fishing! (Golf is specially bad, bad, bad)
9- And such like!
