Much different? How is it different at all, other than who is doing the "forcing" or "legislating"? The end result is the same. They both are requirements. They both can be obeyed or disobeyed. They both have consequences for disobeying. OK there's another difference: the consequences are extremely different. In one case, it's a fine or some jail time. In the other, it's eternal torture (unless you are UR). Besides those two differences (who legislates and the severity of punishment), is there anything else that's much different?

To paraphrase, Thou shalt not be a Trinitarian?

Jesus while on planet earth did nothing to promote his Father's kingdom in the political areana....neither did the Apostles. In fact I believe Jesus said that His kingdom would not be of this world...passing earthly laws will not bring about a spiritual result...that time has come and passed.

God does not legistate love...because He first loved us the natural response is to love Him back. The greatest love of all is to lay down your life for a friend...He did this. To understand the context of what Jesus was saying(when He said to love God with everything) you need to look at the question. It is not a question that physical/natural laws can every answer correctly.

I do not love my government or legislators...they do not love me...they are a necessary evil...for them to pass a law mandating me to love...is impossible since a government cannot love/hate and has no capacity for these things.
