On Oct.29, 2008, I Had A Dream...
and wrote it down.
This morning just before I awoke I was dreaming (and I don't dream a
lot and when I do dream, can't remember it after I awake.) that there was a storm
outside and the clouds were SO black. Lightening and thunder and as I looked out
a window I saw things toppling. The wind was strong and I hid my face as I wondered
if any moment what would happen. It was like I was waiting but I was trusting my life
in the Lord. It was like, "Lord, whatever happens, my life's in Your Hands". I felt no
fear, just calmness. Suddenly I realized the storm had passed and I had not been
touched by it. I was safe, secure, in the midst of the storm. I thought of the song,
"Keep Me Safe In The Midst Of The Storm". And He did. God's people in the Bible
were always protected from the "Storm". There is peace in the midst of the storm.
Regardless of how the election goes and I have HIGH HOPES, but if it should not
go the way I think it should, I know that we will be safe.
"They that trust in the LORD shall be as Mt. Zion, that cannot be removed, but
abideth forever".
"As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the LORD is round about his
people from henceforth (from now on) even forever".
"As for such as turn aside unto their crooked ways, the LORD shall lead them
forth with the workers of iniquity: BUT PEACE shall be upon Israel". (God now
in His people). ( Psalms 125:1,2,5)
"Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding".
"In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths". ( Proverbs 3:5,6)

Wise words...
We allow the happenings of the kingdoms of this world to affect our hope, peace, joy etc
Kingdoms rise and kingdoms but God's Kingdom stands through them all.

Obama nor McCain control my God nor my happiness.
I find my peace in God. He keeps me. If he wants me to have the raise or promotion at work, He is going to make it happen even when the economy says otherwise.

Amen. I believe that. I also know that many times those who do not agree with us give into our lives blessings despite themselves.
