How about OneAccords VICTORY REPORT!
Remember this from the Prayer Closet?

I'll be undertaking an endeavor that requires strength, will power and determiniation to achieve success. I have until Jan 1 to complete this task. I can't do this without knowing I have prayer warriors behind me!

Welll, I can report victory in Jesus Name!
First, a confession: No one on AFF knows what I am about to post here but a few people. The fact is, while away from the Lord, I picked up some bad habits. As I began to work my way out of the hogpen and return to my Fathers House, I laid everything down except one thing. Try as I might, I could not stop smoking. Patches, gums, and such like were no match for the strong addictive power of nicotine. I posted the above a few days ago and asked you to pray for me. I contacted 4 people to "confess my fault" and ask them to pray. Those four were Apprehended, Raven, Michael Phelps and Falla39. I was determined to stop on Christmas Day.
FAILURE: I didn't stop on Christmas Day. However...
VICTORY: As of December 31st, I am a non-smoker. I had your prayers, God's grace, and, the help of a special someone, and, praise the Lord, once again, I can say GOD HAS NOT FAILED!
STRUGGLING: Well, yes. Still fighting the urge but, meeting the fight with a strong determination to beat this thing. I have gum and pills that help, but, I gotta tell ya, its your prayers that is bringing the victory! Your prayers are still needed, but my faith is in the Lord who fights our battles. Thank you for praying.... now, lets just praise the Lord!

OA God knows the desires of our heart. He will indeed give you the strength to break these bonds off of you.
Giving God the Glory is indeed the right thing to do.

Our GOD is BIGGER than ANY problem. HE is STRONGER than any habit or otherwise.
GOD IS GREATER than any situation! He is GREAT and GREATLY to be praised!

So glad to hear about your victory! My brother and sister in law were both very heavy smokers and God delivered them- God is able!
