Re: Response to WPF Fireball thread: AN Lying Agai

ESPECIALLY in light of the language they (to a man) have recently used to describe this forum and its posters. Apostate, sewer and cesspool being among the more prominent.

Re: The State of the UPC

it definitely not "hundreds" of young ministers coming in. Even the cons within UPCI agree on that one. I am not anti UPC. Never have been. Once again this is not about doctrine it is about...

Re: The State of the UPC

I was thinking more in demographics.

Currently the median age of its ministers is 54.

There are something like less than 400 under the age of 35 and it looks like they make up a good portion of...

Re: Is Grace Greater Than Sin?

Is grace greater than sin is tantamount to asking is Christ greater than Satan.;-)

Re: The First Church of Utopia

Perhaps you missed my" goal "point. We are commanded to be holy even as GOD is holy. As long as we are under the blood and striving toward that mark His righteousness is imputed to us. Even when we...

Re: How easy is it to Lose Salvation?

Luke at least learn one thing. There are not degrees of covenant, you are either in covenant or you are not, and a breech of covenant does NOT automatically void it and leave you without covering

Re: How easy is it to Lose Salvation?

Violation/breach of a contract does not automatically void the contract.

The terms of the contract state the remedies of the offended party, what they may do, not what they have to.

A man can...

Re: Heaven with an unrepented sin.

Absolutely, so will God. The point being continuing in sin versus committing a sin. God is not looking for excuses to withhold His Grace, and does not withdraw His hand from the Christian the second...

Re: How easy is it to Lose Salvation?

Grace is NOT God's power, it is His bestowing of undeserved mercy!!!

Then your theology is you are totally out of covenant every time you commit a sin, (regardless of degree) and remain that way...

Re: Better Safe Than Sorry?

Re: Better Safe Than Sorry?

Fear and guilt are not of God, that is true. Conviction is and there is a difference.

A pastor who leads by fear is not a true Shepard, that is very different than exhortation and warning.

Re: How easy is it to Lose Salvation?

It is the statement that there is no more covering of grace the second a saint sins that is disturbing. That in the second you commit a sin of any kind God yanks off the covering until you repent;...
