In my opinion, the desires of the flesh is our old nature which we will live in until it is transformed at the resurrection where we will take on immortality and incorruption. We received a new nature at our new birth and became new creatures but we will still have a battle between our "old man" or "human nature" and our "new man" or spiritual nature." I think this battle is described in Romans chapters 6, 7, and 8 and in Galatians 5:16-26
Well said.

Surely, you understand the nature of sin.

But, it's been a while since you asked a provocative question.
sounds like a contradiction. God doesn't create homosexual people, but we are born with a sin nature that can be homosexual?

I think God made homosexual people... but did not make people homosexual.

Re: Desires of the Flesh

I think that what people are doing like putting chemicals in the food and water can cause changes in people that may make them feel homosexual or it may be just genetic.

Then, I do think some people are just perverted. But I don't know which person is which just because they are homosexual.

Re: Desires of the Flesh

Rom 13:13 Let us walk properly as in the daytime, not in orgies and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and sensuality, not in quarreling and jealousy.
Rom 13:14 But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to gratify its desires.

Albert Barnes:And make not provision - The word “provision” here is what is used to denote “provident care,” or preparation for future needs. It means that we should not make it an object to gratify our lusts, or study to do this by laying up anything beforehand with reference to this design.

  2. The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
  3. Every sinner must repent of their sins.
  4. That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
  5. That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
  6. The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

Did God create liars, adulterers, thieves, murderers and *generally speaking* sinners?

And, if God didn't create them; who did?

Thank you for answering.

Romans 5:12

12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

Sin came into the world...when Adam fell sin entered the world.
