Aw, man. You're way too smart for me. Should have known you wouldn't answer this question!
Folks, there you have it. Epley will not answer this simple, basic question: What happens to the lost when they die? I mean, isn't this one of the basic tenets of Apostolic doctrine?
In truth, he already has answered it in
another thread. He says it's up to God. Turns out He may actually give them a pardon. Don't believe me? See for yourself.
"Timmy he [Bishop Patterson] did die lost he did not obey the gospel that saves BUT it is up to God at the judgment what he does with them not me."
"Going to Hell will be determined at the White Throne being lost is determined NOW whether you obey the gospel or not. Will ALL the lost go to Hell stick around for the White Throne and find out. God will judge that not I."
"EVERYONE is lost who has not obeyed
Acts 2:38 God can do with them what he wants at the judgment."
"The judgment will sort them out but I am afraid it will be too late. But He is God and the judge so it is up to HIm if he decides to show mercy He is God. I doubt it happens but He can if he wants."
He was trying to reconcile this statement:
"I have NOT said on this forum or in person that 'so and so' is going to Hell. Not me."
with this:
"Sad he died lost." (Speaking of Bishop Patterson in
this thread.)
Did he succeed? Shall I start another poll?
