There is probably no one that wants freedom, if freedom to be stupid protected more than I. But this is pretty cut and dry, she was on company time, representing the company, and obviously neglecting those patients in her care if she has time to do something like this.
Furthermore, even if this were on her own time... because people know where she works, she's hurt their image, and their public relations. It's basic logic that when an employee becomes a public relations liability for a business, and starts to send business away.... get rid of the employee. Yep, she has free speech... but freedom has a cost. And to whom much is given, much is required. That's why, when we exercise our freedom, we should weigh out all the possible ramifications... and count the cost.
