Not true

Quote:
If you braid the womens hair which is a veil, it can no longer cover her head.
It's not a veil. It's a covering.

the head is the skull

Paul states that if the women is not covered, she should be shorn or shaven.

I Corinthians 11:15

Knox Bible (KNOX)
15 when a woman grows her hair long, it is an added grace to her? That is because her hair has been given her to take the place of a veil.
Bad translation

NET bible commentary

No word for veil or head covering occurs in 1Co_11:3-14 (see the note on authority in 1Co_11:10). That the hair is regarded by Paul as a covering in 1Co_11:15 is not necessarily an argument that the hair is the same as the head covering that he is describing in the earlier verses (esp. 1Co_11:10). Throughout this unit of material, Paul points out the similarities of long hair with a head covering. But his doing so seems to suggest that the two are not to be identified with each other. Precisely because they are similar they do not appear to be identical (cf. 1Co_11:5; 1Co_11:6; 1Co_11:7; 1Co_11:10; 1Co_11:13). If head covering = long hair, then what does 1Co_11:6 mean ("For if a woman will not cover her head, she should cut off her hair")? This suggests that the covering is not the same as the hair itself.

1 Peter 3:3

Knox Bible (KNOX)
3 Your beauty must lie, not in braided hair, not in gold trinkets, not in the dress you wear,
So don't braid, wear god or a dress? Gotcha!

Quote:
I Timothy 2:9

Knox Bible (KNOX)
9 So, too, with the women; they are to dress themselves modestly and with restraint in befitting attire; no plaited hair, no gold ornaments, or pearls, or rich clothes;
1Ti 2:9 likewise also that women should adorn themselves in respectable apparel, with modesty and self-control, not with braided hair and gold or pearls or costly attire,

Once again this was not speaking of braids but intertwining the hair with gold and other costly materials in elaborate hair styles and has nothing to do with what Paul spoke of in 1Cor

What is being taught is that women should not set their focus on the outward appearance but the inner woman of the heart in character

Peter wasn't saying women should go naked. He was saying don't let your adorning be only that outward

1Pe 3:3 Do not let your adorning be external--the braiding of hair, the wearing of gold, or the putting on of clothing--
1Pe 3:4 but let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God's sight is very precious.
1Pe 3:5 For this is how the holy women who hoped in God used to adorn themselves, by submitting to their husbands,
