It IS a land of opportunity. There is equal opportunity for the "slob in his pajamas" and the brick and mortar store owner. They BOTH can choose how they proceed to start a business. That choice is equal opportunity.
What you want isn't equal opportunity, what you want is the government to step in and dictate what's fair and what's considered equal opportunity. You want socialism.
Did you vote for Obama?
As I stated before, it's a myth that the playing field is slanted and unfair. Do you have a clue what it takes to have an online business? I don't think you do. I don't think you have any idea the costs associated with domain names, website hosting, virtual shopping carts, ssl certs, transaction fees, etc. The "slob in his pajamas" who has an online store, in most cases, is not making bank.

I should note, my wife works for Walmart so Walmart pays my mortgage. "Big Evil Walmart" has paid her well, given her raises every year and offered her management positions. Viva la Walmart!

Why am I not surprised? First, you're totally for a small-business killing bill that destroyes the entrepreneurial spirit of the internet; now you praise Walmart, which is another small-business killer.
You must have voted for Obama.
