Well, i'll repeat myself....it's all a ploy. Maybe 10% of the collective group of Dem and Rep Senators and Congressmen are honest in their efforts and ideas to help this nation...the big majority are bought and paid for. And the arguing and bickering between Republicans and Democrats over issues is a show for the American people...a manipulating and deceitful show. And the media has a part in it. Open your eyes and you'll see what I see. ....as for California...that's a state...not the federal government. Why is the federal government passing laws for a few measly dollars in comparison to our debt and spending? Revenue? Not a chance. It goes way beyond revenue.
