That's just it, they ARE pulling the trigger over and over. It's just handled by the bump stock. Every time the gun recoils, the pressure pushes it back (which releases the trigger), and when the stock pushes the gun forward again it automatically pulls the trigger again so long as your finger hasn't released it.
It may give the appearance of full auto - one could even argue it is effectively the same as full auto - but it is not actually full auto. By definition, a fully automatic weapon internally allows you to continue firing without releasing the trigger (it is a very specific mechanism design that is classified as fully automatic). A bump stock simply allows the trigger to be pulled repeatedly. Similar effect, completely different implementations (for one, a bump stock has much more recoil to deal with).
Words mean things, and definitions don't change just because you're confused about their meaning.
