And I don't believe that the Apostle Paul was preaching tithing. I do believe that he was teaching that the ministry should be supported. Some people jump straight to tithing, as though it's the only way to support the ministry. It is not.

Bro, honestly ten percent seems to be a hang up with you. Bro, if the dude is doing the job of ministering to you and yours, then support him with what you have. It is that simple. But guess what my man, if you need me to tell you this, then honey child keep every single dime you make. Because what you give will have some sort of emotional strings attached. Man, I have known full blown rocked out sinners to help those who have helped them with advise, and caring. Because they felt passionate about their mentor and friend. They understood that what was being bestowed upon them was priceless. Yet, we will debate over helping to support ministry with 10% of a donation? Whatever.
