I think there are only 2 possible options here. 1. That person has never received the Holy Ghost. or 2. There were no demons.

I've never heard this before. I know it was addressed further on in the thread so I'll go re-read before posing questions. 
My one comment is in regard to the demons though. I can't imagine anyone with a demon filling any part of them could stand the presence of God.
