God is NOT the author of confusion.
Bro. A in Mississippi gets a word that wearing wedding rings are a sin.
Bro. B in Ohio didn't get that word.
How do you explain that?

Some churches need more standards than others. For instance, one man takes a stand on wild hair styles, because the homosexuals in his part of the world wear their hair that way. In another part of the world, it's not a problem because the hairstyle doesn't reflect that identity. Wedding rings are not a salvific issue, but it is difficult for someone to maintain a stand on jewelry, and allow wedding rings. The same with short sleeves.
I know what you're thinking at this point, so let me clarify. This is not the case with something as clear as someone deliberately disobeying the scriptures. If something new comes along that defies God's commandment, we have a right to preach against it. I believe that Television is a salvific issue, because we shouldn't set anything wicked before our eyes. New types of clothing have come out that directly violate Paul's immodest apparel statement. We have a right to preach these things. When it comes to this, if so and so doesn't receive the revelation like I have, I'm not responsible for that man's ignorance. He has the same Bible that I've got, and he's read the verses that I mentioned.
