It never says here that we are to judge the eternal security of someone's soul, but if we are spiritual we are to have the mind of Christ. We are to be able to walk in the spirit, and be taught spiritual things through the mind of Christ, but we are not called to judge the eternal resting place of someone's soul.

Therefore when I hear people condemning someone to hell, they usually use a scripture such as this one to take it out of context and use it to scare people (or their saints), into abiding by the standards they have set forth to make salvation complete - i.e. beards...

Exactly!
This is the danger of taking snippets for scripture and trying to use them to support ideas.
