Maybe he actually committed a crime this time.

Or maybe he didn't. They've charged him with assault and battery. Unless this woman has evidence of the assault or battery, he should walk.

It's a case of she said/he said. She claims he broke a table, he says she did it.

Unfortunately this is something GZ will have to live with the rest of his life. Anyone he is around can now trash the joint, then point the finger at GZ and claim he pulled a gun on them.

Yes, maybe its true that he did, but in the absence of an eye-witness to authenticate the girlfriend's allegation (according to the law) GZ cannot be convicted. On the other hand, when it comes to a conviction by the court of "public opinion," GZ will be deemed "guilty" merely by accusation. As for me, seeing that I am not an eye-witness to the "alleged" altercation between GZ and his girlfriend, I shall refrain from judgment.

Since most murders are committed without an eye witness i guess we should okay murder as long as no one sees it. I mean how else can we prove it? Of course the thing with murderers is that they like to kill all witnesses sometimes...

This idea of he said vs. he said is well and good but when a guy keeps on getting in situations where there are no witnesses and keeps on being accussed of crimes i'd say there is something to some of those claims.

The September claim by GZ's ex-wife proved to be false. She accused GZ of pulling a gun on her and her dad and of destroying some device they were recording the confrontation with. Cops searched GZ and his car and found no gun. They didn't press any charges.

As I said before, he problem for GZ is that anyone now - including whomever he's dating - can, in the heat of the moment when they're made at GZ, can make up some story about GZ and mention he had a gun and GZ will be viewed as guilty.

Right... every girlfriend is out to get GZ and tell the same lie on him. Maybe GZ is just good at hiding his gun.

Well the ex-wife has told enough lies to prove she can't be trusted or believed. As far as the new girlfriend, who knows. Perhaps GZ is playing the system; if so, he will eventually lose.

I'm not discounting that he could be guilty in this case. But he is a marked man and has to be careful who he trusts.

Fair enough. He is a marked man by the news media and others too. If this was the only time he had questionable accustation including a gun I'd tend to be on your side that it was just as likely a crazy woman making the claim as it was that the claim was true. However this makes 3 claims, TM the exwife and now the gf. I can't view each incident as singular and not related. There is a pattern. If there was some motivation for all the claims, like if ZM was rich and they might want his money it'd be easier to see these all as false accusations. But there isn't a good reason why all those people would be saying the same thing about ZM.
