Yes, maybe its true that he did, but in the absence of an eye-witness to authenticate the girlfriend's allegation (according to the law) GZ cannot be convicted. On the other hand, when it comes to a conviction by the court of "public opinion," GZ will be deemed "guilty" merely by accusation. As for me, seeing that I am not an eye-witness to the "alleged" altercation between GZ and his girlfriend, I shall refrain from judgment.

Since most murders are committed without an eye witness i guess we should okay murder as long as no one sees it. I mean how else can we prove it? Of course the thing with murderers is that they like to kill all witnesses sometimes...
This idea of he said vs. he said is well and good but when a guy keeps on getting in situations where there are no witnesses and keeps on being accussed of crimes i'd say there is something to some of those claims.

Not sure what to believe. The last domestic disturbance, where his ex wife claimed he had a gun aimed at her turned out to be false (he wasn't even armed) and there weren't any charges. Now you have this woman claiming a shotgun was used and that GZ broke her table (though he says she did it).
I'd say if the police search the house and find a shotgun, GZ will get nailed regardless if it actually happened or not.
Unfortunately, GZ is a marked man because of TM. The girlfriend he has could turn on him and say whatever she wants in a moment of anger.

Sounds like he learned from the TM case that if he calls the cops himself about the situation he thinks it will get him out of all trouble.

The September claim by GZ's ex-wife proved to be false. She accused GZ of pulling a gun on her and her dad and of destroying some device they were recording the confrontation with. Cops searched GZ and his car and found no gun. They didn't press any charges.
As I said before, he problem for GZ is that anyone now - including whomever he's dating - can, in the heat of the moment when they're made at GZ, can make up some story about GZ and mention he had a gun and GZ will be viewed as guilty.

How is that? His call to the cops about TM was the thing that almost put him in prison for life!

Without any call at all he would have been put in prison...

Right... every girlfriend is out to get GZ and tell the same lie on him. Maybe GZ is just good at hiding his gun.

Well the ex-wife has told enough lies to prove she can't be trusted or believed. As far as the new girlfriend, who knows. Perhaps GZ is playing the system; if so, he will eventually lose.
I'm not discounting that he could be guilty in this case. But he is a marked man and has to be careful who he trusts.

That's a stretch. Without the call it was GZ's word against nothing. Prosecution has even less of a case without the 911 call. The call was the only thing the Prosecutor's had to try and twist to make it appear GZ was either racist or pursuing TM to make him pay.

I know the tape was used to try and prosecute him. However I think the lack of any 911 tape would have been much more difficult to explain and ultimately hurt him more than helped. With the tape he at least looked like he was trying to get the police to look into that guy. Without the tape he appears a vigilante that doesn't even ask the police for help. I think not asking the police for help would be a bigger detail than anything said on the tape.
