I don't think pastors should be paid at all. They should work 40 hours at their secular job, 40 hours at the church per week, be available at all hours, and have their sermon notes approved by the church board before every service.
I also believe their children and spouse should appear before a review panel every Sunday afternoon so that the church can judge how well behaved they are. Further, the pastor is only allowed to preach from
John 3:16 and
1 Corinthians 13.
