Taking Communion and footwashing is something we should do but it is not given as a prerequisite to being Apostolic. The Bible tells us to do it as a rememberance as oft as you do it. It is a symbol just like the blood applied to the doorpost.
It is not a salvational matter and I often wonder about folks that make all things a heaven or hell issue.
