Maybe you would like Rhoni to put 'touches' out in great detail. For example, a peck on the cheek is for singles, french kissing is for married folks only! Arm around the back is okay, full body press is not! She could write a dissertation!! She could do research!! She could take an AFF poll!!

BTW, Rhoni has been a great sport on this thread!!!!!!

Great advice and, again, you have been a great sport on this thread, Rhoni!
I will have to say, with all due respect, I don't think we really need a counselor for us to reach the conclusion that we need boundaries. The Word of God bears that out very clearly.

AMEN, but because of individual life situations, and transgenerational issues in families, often times boundaries get blurred. Some people don't read the word because they can't or their reading comprehension isn't up to par. Some people learn better by doing or having someone model or tell them. It just depends on how you learn best. Of course, you know I am a proverbial bookworm

But PO wants it spelled out!
So why exactly were you wanting this spelled out PO???

ILG, how would this discussion topic be handled if we did a "my child" comparability test?
If we would counsel our children to avoid a circumstance or behavior, then it seems likely we would NOT 'AMEN' that same lifestyle choice made by our adult brothers and sisters in Christ.
Providing space for the tempter to exploit our natural appetites is foolish.
Adults with even a minimum of life experience understand the difference between fastiing while walking in a park verse fasting while walking through a bakery.
Warning: hugely obvious statement to follow:
Persons who are not married should avoid circumstances that would cause their appetite for intimacy to be increased.
Unmarried persons who purpose to hug or press their bodies together on a couch, would be opening up an occassion where sin and condemnation could enter in.
Being an unmarried "couch lover" is walking a dangerous tighrope...but maybe it's the excitement that some of folks are really after?

Good post, tbpew!!!! Excellent!!
And you are right - being an unmarried "couch lover" is walking a dangerous tightrope!!!
'Cause if I'm interested and he's interested and he touches me - I'm going to climb his frame like a monkey in a tree! That's just downright, homestyle, plain as the nose on your face talkin'!!!!!! I did not need a counselor to figure that thang out!!!
