being consistent with this logic...long hair is ok on a man...as long as he stays away from trees and doesn't try to overthrow his fathers kingdom. Ok.
St.Paul's letters are words & principles that he wrote to people in a very different time, place, & culture. Can we read them and find comfort, encouragement, guidance....absolutely!!
But if I believe in and follow St.Paul....I still die in my sins. When it comes to "heaven & hell" doctrines....I only trust Jesus for those.
