OK, as a guy I haven't exactly been in the bathroom with most UPC women as they are getting ready but I can say that I tend to agree for the most part. I would say however that I think the gals tended to be a bit more unkept for the better part of the week (non church days) but prepared for the typical service (especially if it was a camp!) the way that other women primped for going clubbing. In fact, aside for the overall "look", there really isn't any difference.

And here is where I get a bunch of UPC gals angry, but what I usually saw was them letting themselves go after getting married and having their first kid. This is when they went from "show girl on the red carpet that is the pentecostal camp service" to the farmers wife from American Gothic.

You're so funny.

Some of us are just cute no matter how we are dressed. Like me.

I am going to try and sell a show to the Bravo network called "Real Single Gals of the UPC!". Oh, can you just imagine the drama!

(Of course at least one of the ladies would have to be a closest lesbian for there to be any interest on their part. Maybe we could plant one, aka, Borat.)

Exactly how were they unkept? Didn't comb hair? Brush teeth?

I had lunch today with a many UPC ladies there and not one of them was unkept, most looked very nice including their personalities.

Flashback, Nam like, to my single days when someone would try to set me up with someone and the first words out of their mouth was something to the effect of how nice their personality was. Us single guys ALL knew what that meant. In fact, I am sitting here in a fetal position not unlike a Vietnam vet who is hearing the sounds of a typewriter.

It's like asking us to go against our God-given nature to be non-decorative.
I wonder if it was God's intent for man to be the antithesis of most every other creature he created or if that's just the way it ended up?

Good question. To add to the confusion we find that in most species where a male and female pair up for life, they tend to look identical. Such as parrots, geese, and penguins.
